Every day, patients are admitted to Hopital Adventiste d’Haiti (HAH) who have no means to pay for their life and limb saving surgeries. One of the most dire needs in at HAH is funding for these patient’s surgeries. Hopital Adventiste d’Haiti has a great need for improved facilities for patient care including patient rooms, operating rooms, and volunteer housing. Multiple initiatives are planned to relocate volunteers to improved facilities in order to renovate the north wing of the hospital for more patient rooms. In addition, the operating rooms are in dire need of updating and improving sterility for improved care. None of this can happen without help from donors. Orthopedic Ministries of the Caribbean is actively seeking partners to join with us in care of the people of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. As Haiti continues to recover from the earthquake and deals with the struggles of rebuilding in the midst of incredible poverty and loss, the needs there are currently our primary focus. While volunteers are still needed to serve and to work with the local staff, partners around the world are needed to contribute to the ongoing work in many ways.
